EGR Cooler (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler) An EGR Cooler is a heat exchanger in diesel/gasoline engines that cools hot exhaust gases before recirculating them into the intake manifold. It lowers combustion temperatures, reduces NOx emissions, improves fuel efficiency, and protects engine components.
